prostitution?
An American psychologist, Allan

and it will give negative affet to their life.
An American psychologist, Allan

to enhance the business by scouting for beautiful
women and men who are capable of paying the
right price.

people would think women are something they can earn

cannot anymore find other means of livelihood.

uplift their lives and come out of poverty.

differs in various parts of the world.
In some parts of the world, it is a seen
as a business that needs stricter
regulations because it contributes to the
country’s economy.

Some countries do not allow it because

it is connected with the problems like
human rights.

WORLDWIDE SCENARIO OF
PROSTITUTION

about the countries who legalized
prostitution?

prostitution, I think legalizing the prostitution
is too dangerous and unsafe. I don’t
understand why, but I wish you also have an
equal rights for reproductive law.
Answer the following questions. If you can’t make it here,
answer it on a short bond paper. Take a picture and insert it here
(on this slide only). Do not search answers on the internet. Please
answer it based on what you have understood. Thank you 

Why is prostitution considered a violation of human rights?

Answer: prostitution is a service for selling sex to people. There are many controversial issues about it
which is related to violence. For example, women were injurded by an unconsensual relationship. These
are happened by the disrespectful behaviour of the partner. Even though they’re paying the money, it
doesn’t mean they can treat them cruel.

Is prostitution considered a serious problem in our country at present? Why or why

not?
Answer: yes, it is an important problem until nowadays. Because they are many crimes related to
prostitution. Even though they get punished, they don’t change easily. So to prevent the crime,
government should protect the people and also develop the punishment.

let the police realize about this issue. Lot’s of victims couldn’t speak out because there’re threaten or

should aware not to be tempted. We should behave
right as an student and concentrate on study.
Gather a (meaning one) news about movements or
organizations against women abuse. Then, answer the
question that follow.

Movement or organization against women abuse.

Answer:Women’s right to live free from violence is upheld by international agreements such as the
Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), especially through General Recommendations 12 and 19, and the 1993
UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women.  UN Women works with countries at the global level to advance the international normative framework
through support provided to inter-governmental processes, such as the General Assembly and the CSW. At the country level, UN Women supports Governments in
adopting and enacting legal reforms aligned with international standards.
We partner with Governments, UN agencies, civil society organizations and other institutions to advocate for ending violence, increase awareness of the causes and
consequences of violence and build capacity of partners to prevent and respond to violence. We also promote the need for changing norms and behaviour of men and
boys, and advocate for gender equality and women’s rights. UN Women supports expanding access to quality multi-sectoral responses for survivors covering safety,
shelter, health, justice and other essential services. Policy guidance helps to step up investments in prevention—the most cost-effective, long-term means to stop
violence.
We work with Governments to develop dedicated national action plans to prevent and address violence against women, strengthening coordination among diverse actors
required for sustained and meaningful action. UN Women also advocates for the integration of violence in key international, regional and national frameworks, such as the
post-2015 development agenda.

Do you think their goal is enough to protect women from abuse?

Answer: The solution they are suggesting would give help to people and the victims. It will reduce the
violence between prostitution.
End of Day 2. Take a rest now 
