Experimental work and Results
• The investigated rubber is a sulfur vulcanized SBR filled with three different
amounts of carbon-black: 15, 25 and 43 phr (part per hundred of rubber in
weight), denoted by SBR15, SBR25 and SBR43

2- Objectives:
• Contribution to a better understanding of the
phenomenon of self-heating and fatigue.
• Thermo-mechanical behaviour modelling of
SBR under the cyclic loading.
• Experimental validation of numerical models
to predict the self heating and fatigue life of
rubber and its physical interpretation at
macro/nano level.
