What is Descriptive Text?

Descriptive text is a text which says what

a person or a thing is like.

Do you know Raisa? Yes, Raisa Adriana. She is a famous

Raisa's father is Allan N. Rachman and her mother is Ria
Marianty. She graduated from Universitas Bina Nusantara.
Raisa is married to Hamish Daud. Their first child is a girl,
her name is Zalina Raine Wyllie.
She has beautiful voice and also beautiful face. She is
tall and has a nice body. She has bright skin and long-
straight black hair. She also has a pointed nose and big
eyes. Raisa likes coffee, chocolate, Soto Ayam,
aromatherapy candle. She likes to wear clothes with basic

Sphynx Cat

My Sphynx cat is the only pet I have. He has a

little hair but is not totally hairless as he has a peach
fuzz over much of his body. His coat is often a warm
chamois. My Sphynx has a normal cat proportion.
I like his tail although my mom say that it is like a rats
tail. I love his usual color varieties including,
tortoiseshell, chocolate, black, blue, lilac, chocolate
etc. He is really an amazing cat. Believe it or not, he is
very intelligent cat. He can respond my voice
commands. He is really funny as well as my friends

Prambanan Temple

Prambanan Temple or also known as Lara Jonggrang

Temple is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. It is
precisely located in about 17 km northeast of Yogyakarta city,
Central Java. It was built in 9th century during the reign of
Sanjaya dynasty and dedicated to the three main Hindu Gods
or Trimurti; Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Its greatness and
magnificence attracts many visitors from around the globe
every year.
Prambanan Temple was built on a four-square plane. Each
plane is separated by four walls with four large gates on the
middle as the entrance. The whole temple complex is divided
into three major zones; the outer, middle, and inner zone. The
outer zone is an open space and the bottommost terrace of
the temple. The second area is the middle zone where
hundreds of small temples were standing. The last area is the
inner zone. It is the holiest and highest terrace of the temple.

My Bycicle

I have a BMX bicycle. My father bought me this

bicycle for my birthday gift. I was seven when got this
BMX and I thought it’s the best gift I’ve ever had.
Like most BMX, my bicycle has only a single
speed. The frame of my BMX is metallic white. It has
two wheels. The tires are half orange and half white,
while the rims are green. It has one black saddle. I
also attach a couple of pegs on the front and rear of it.
The rear pegs usually are used when I want to give a
ride to my friend.

what the writer describe.
