ITALIAN TRADE

INTRODUCTION

Italy is ranked number 8 in the ranking of the world's largest

importers. Italy's main trading partners are the European Union
(mainly Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Spain), and the
United States and Switzerland. Its main imports are cars, crude oil,
packaged medicines, and petroleum gas.
This country consumes wood and rustic furniture, but the
production of teak wood, the most attractive for that market, is
only enough to supply the internal demand in Colombia. As for
rustic furniture, Colombia is strong in production.

The second step is the tariff classification of the product, this serves
to know if the country to which it is going to export charges for the
importation of products. It is important that this classification is
verified every 4 years since the trade is very varied and they create
new products that need reclassification.
