Monitor – is the screen that looks like a television. This is
where you can see the pictures, text, number, and other
actions you do while using the computer.

System Unit – also known as a base unit, is the main body
of a computer. It is commonly referred to as Central
Processing Unit or CPU which is the brain of the computer
because it carries out the instructions of the computer.

Keyboard – is a device that contains keys to enter data
and instructions into a computer. This includes the letters
of the alphabet, numbers, symbols and other special keys.

Mouse – is a pointing device that fits comfortably under
the palm of your hand. With a mouse, user can control the
movement of the pointer on the screen to an object such
as button, menu, icon, link or text.

Printer – is a device that prints graphics on paper. The

text, or hand writing and converts it to a digital image or

media with a bigger capacity than a floppy diskette and
CD. It is port in a computer or mobile device.

1. Speed – it can process data very fast.
2. Repetitiveness – it can perform the same operations
tirelessly and repeatedly.
3. Accuracy – it can produce results with a high degree of
precision.
4. Logical Operations – it can make decisions based on the set
of instructions given to it.
5. Store and Recall Operations – it can store and recall
information because it has data storage capability.
6. Self-checking – it can verify the accuracy of the information.
Computer Limitations
1. Limited data can only be stored into a computer.
2. It has limited memory to do processing.
3. The computer and its hardware have a life span.
4. It cannot replace the human brain.
5. It cannot generate information on its own.
