“Leaders are people wh
who do things right”

Professor Warren G. Be
WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?

“Leadership” - is the ability of a company's management to set and achieve challenging

goals, take swift and decisive action, outperform the competition, and inspire others to
perform well. It is tough to place a value on leadership or other qualitative aspects of a
company, compared to quantitative metrics that are commonly tracked and much easier to
compare between companies.

An effective leader is a person who does

the following:
• Creates an inspiring vision of the future.
• Motivates and inspires people to engage
with that vision.
• Manages delivery of the vision.
• Coaches and builds a team, so that it is
more effective at achieving the vision
