What is LCAP?
The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an important component of the Local Control
Funding Formula (LCFF). Under the LCFF all schools in California are required to prepare
a LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all students, with specific
activities to address identified state and local priorities.
The LCAP is a document outlining how we plan to spend the extra money (LCFF) we get
from the state for our Foster youth, Low-Income (Free & Reduced lunch/FRMP), and
English Learners. In the LCAP we state how we intend to spend this money through 4
Goals.

Successes
● OFY-Acton obtained 0% suspension on
the California dashboard.
● OFY-Acton obtained a yellow indicator
for mathematics because students
demonstrated an increase in SBAC 1

mathematics by 12.3 points.
● On the California Dashboard, 67.3% of
OFY-Acton English Learner students are
making progress towards English
Language proficiency compared to
48.3% of students at the state level.
● 45.83% of OFY-Acton English Learner
students have been reclassified this
year.

Identified Needs
● While OFY-Acton’s graduation rate
increased by 26.6% since last year,
the LEA is still showing a red for this
indicator on the California Dashboard
because our overall graduation rate 1
was 61.6%. 5
● OFY-Acton received a red for the
College & Career Indicator, as 5.1% of
all students at OFY-Acton were placed
in the prepared level for this indicator.
● Another area of improvement for OFY-
Acton is the English Language Arts
indicator. OFY-Acton students achieved
an orange color for this metric
because we maintained our score, only
declining by .9 points from the
previous year.

Stakeholder Engagement

leadership and are administered twice
a year to students, parents, and staff.

to help us develop the upcoming

Our School-Wide LCAP
Goals
Goal 1: Students will receive individualized support and instruction through
standards-aligned instructional curriculum & materials to positively impact their
progress toward graduation and work toward narrowing the opportunity gap for
all students.
Goal 2: OFY-Acton will cultivate a safe and healthy learning environment and
school climate through an increased emphasis on safety and sense of
connectedness. The LEA will focus on charter maintenance, operations,
transportation, facilities and nutrition for all stakeholders

Goal 3: Expose all students to College and Career pathways in order to positively 4
impact graduation readiness and post-secondary options.
Goal 4: English Learner and SWD students will be provided additional designated
and specialized instruction tailored toward mastery of standards-aligned
instruction to improve academic achievement, reclassification rate (EL) and
progress toward post-secondary goals.
