Biochemistry

Biochemistry

Biochemists study the chemicals and reactions in living organisms . The chemists probe
organic matter on a cellular level to find new tecnologies
Chemical engineers

Chemical engineers are responsible for

manufacturing products developed by chemists.
These engineers use their knowledge of math,
physics and biology to design
Agricultural/food scientists

Food sientist use their findings to create new food

products.
Agricultural scientists study soil composition and create
ways to improve the mixture and increase plant growth
Chemical technicians

With two year associates degree, chemical

technicians work in laboratories with chemists,
assisting the chemists with research, conducting
experiments and testing products and processes.
Medical scientists

Medical scientists determine which drugs can

treat various diseases, and they establish
standardized potency and dosage rates.
Education

Teaching is popular vocation for chemistry

graduates. Graduates who have a bachelor’s degree
can teach schools and community colleges, and
work in some positions in industry and government.
Forensic chemists

They analize the physical evidence and search for

clues to solve a crime. Forensic chemistry uses
science to solve the puzzle and to bring criminals
to justice
Environmental scientists

Study the air, water and soil to determine the

effects of chemicals and human activities on the
environment. They look for evidence of pollution,
and they try to find the source of the contamination.
Geochemists

Study the composition of chemical elements in the

composition and structure of the earth. They
examine the migration of these elements in the
water and soil systems.
