A student exchange program is a program in which students


from a secondary school or university study abroad at one of
their institution's partner institution. student exchange programs
may involve international travel, but does not necessarily
require the student to study outside of their home country.
WHY IT WAS STARTED?

participants' understanding and tolerance of other
cultures, as well as improving their language skills and
broadening their social horizons.

just practical. They are also personal. Studying abroad
exposes students to fresh ideas and different cultures. It
allows students to confront new and challenging situations,
and to try out their decision-making skills away from their
parents and the comforts of home. Traveling abroad and
