REFLECTION
Name: Drianna Gordon
Date: April 22nd, 2018
Portfolio Artifact Description: Jeopardy, using PowerPoint to create an educational
game
What I learned: I have used a Jeopardy game before in EDU 201. I taught a lesson to
the class and ended the lesson with Jeopardy. I find it easier to create and design
the game on websites rather than PowerPoint. It takes less time and is a smoother
process.
National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers Addressed: Empowered
Learner
Students leverage technology to take an active role in choosing, achieving and
demonstrating competency in their learning goals, informed by the learning
sciences.
Application of Skills Learned for the Future: I had the thought of using a similar type
of game from previous education classes. I do prefer other programs for Jeopardy.
