writer's language or ideas and then calls the
work his or her own?
In gathering information for a
research or an assigned task, it is
important to learn how to annotate
and write bibliographies.

• A bibliography is a list of the sources you
use to get information for your report.
• It is included at the end of your report, on the
last page (or last few pages)
• In writing a bibliography, you need to note
down the following information: the full
title, author, place of publication, publisher,
and date of publication for each source.

bibliography with APA Format
(American Psychological
Association
Book Format: Author's last name, first initial. (Publication date).
Book title. Additional information. City of publication: Publishing
company. (LFDTACPC)

Magazine & Newspaper Article Format:
Author's last name, first initial. (Publication
date). Article title. Periodical title, volume
number(issue number if available), inclusive
pages.
A. If a periodical includes a volume number,
italicize it and then give the page range (in
regular type) without "pp."
