management of organizations.

INTRODUCTION
Advance Chemical Industry (ACI) Limited, is one of the
leading private company in Bangladesh. It has
multinational heritage. About more than four decades
ACI manufacturing quality medicines. In the basic
training need assessment, the company offer both on-
the-job and off-the-job theoretical and practical training
opportunities. In this training both functional and
managerial levels are including. This organization can
help to reduce the unemployment problem of our
country by increasing the job opportunity.

First established as subsidiary of Imperial chemical industries (ICI) in
1968.

Incorporated in Bangladesh 24th January 1973 as ICI ltd and as public


limited company.

First trading of shares took place on 9th march on DSE.

Registered in the name of Advance chemical industries and listing with


CSE on 22nd October 1995.

PROVIDENT FUND

Provident fund offers to any employee but he/she has to be a permanent employee. The contribution of
provident fund is 8% of the basic salary from both sides. That means company give 8% as their provident
fund and other 8% cut out from their basic salary. If an employee works there for 5 years they will get the
full amount but if they work less than 2 years then he/she will get only 8% provident fund which is cut
down amount from their basic salary. They will not receive another 8% from company.
