Handheld telephone:
In 1973, Martin Cooper invented the first
cell phone ever. This was a big change in
the way people communicated, and was
considered so because everyone could
now communicate everywhere, although
the new telephone was too expensive and
took many years to be cheaper and
accessible.
Barcode shopping:
In 1952, Norman J. Woodland was
recognized as the inventor of the barcode
system. In 1974, barcodes were used for
grocery-store purchases. This was a big
change because now shopping could be
easier, faster, and tax evasions from
stores were reduced significantly because
of the invention.

CONCLUSION
It is important to study technology throughout time because we can learn about what
inventions were made and how people lived.

What they all have in common is the need of inventions created for an everyday life.

Nowadays, technology refers to digital machines, mostly, but in the past, simple tools
were more common.
