• 45% spend 30–60 minutes per day on social media


• 22% spend 1–2 hours per day
• 40% look at social media 2-5 times  a day
• 26% 5–10 times a day 
• most parents use social media during their free time
• a few whilst at work
• more than half don‘t check their social media accounts before getting up (59%)
• more than half don‘t check or only sometimes check their social media accounts just before they go
to sleep
• 65% point out that they use social media moderately, 15% constantly
• most of the parents state that they feel like they might be missing out when they are without social
media for a long period

         there probably won’t be a time when hardly anyone will use digital media
         over the years young people will stay interested in digital media and keep using it

  there are subtle dangers of social media and we continue learning  more and more

         so we don’t see just positive aspects

- especially in the current time of the Corona crisis students notice
that digital media has a very positive side and since its constantly
being developed, it will still have  a positive influence in the future

         aspect that their children are more and more on digital media
         as a positive aspect they can, for example, do their work from home in 
         times like now
