    STONE QUARRYING

    • Mine - underground operation only
    • Washed 3/4″ is used in
    ready mix concrete and
    asphalt.
    • Also known as pea
    gravel, 3/8″ Washed is
    used in concrete and
    top coat asphalt.
    • A mix of stone and
    stone dust compacted
    and used for fill or as a
    solid base for roads,
    driveways, parking lots,
    brick paver
    installations, and other
    subbase applications.
    • A fine washed stone
    aggregate
    • ½” to 2″ stone for
    railbed.
    Jetty Rock
    • Very large stones
    ranging in size from 3’
    to 10’ or more.
    • Very fine stone dust.
    Overburden(Fill Dirt)
    • A layer of soil that
    covers the rock quarry
    before it is mined.
    • Custom painted jetty
