THE BRITISH MUSEUM
The British Museum, consisting of the national museum of
archaeology and ethnography and the national library, is the
richest of its kind in the world. It was founded in 1753 with
the permission of the British Parliament. Its exposition
occupies 94 galleries.

departments

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
The museum building
was built in 1880 by
the famous architect
at the time - Alfred
Uaterhauzom.

two parts - a
research and
exhibition .
VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM
 The Victoria and
Albert Museum
(often abbreviated
as the V&A) is the
world's largest
museum of
decorative arts
and design. it
contains exhibits
of more than 3,000
summer folk art.
The Museum was opened in 1857 at Marlborough House.
Additional buildings were designed by Sir Aston Webb.
In the centre of the Museum located John Madejski
Garden.

THE NATIONAL GALLERY
  is an art
museum in Trafalgar
Square in the City of
Westminster,
in Central London.
Founded in 1824, it
houses a collection of
over 2,300 paintings
dating from the
middle-13th century
to 19th.
THE TATE GALLERY
 The Tate Gallery is one
of the largest museums
in the country. It is the
oldest gallery in the
network, having opened
in 1897. The Gallery
was named after the
sugar millionaire Sir
Henry Tate who gave his
Victorian paintings and
paid for the building.
