    STRING INSTRUMENT
    String Instrument are instrument that are plucked
    • or bowed and are often referred to as the back bone of the orchestra.

    • Example
    • VIOLIN- the leader and the heart at the orchestra
    • Played by moving the bow to and fro across the strings
    • VIOLA- a little larger than violin it is tuned a tenth lower than violin
    • Cello- larger than viola held by the player bet wen his her knees and moves the to and fro
    • DOUBLE bass –largest among the stringed instrument that has the lowest pitch
    • HARP –stringed instrument that is played by picking.
