Community Engagement Plan

 Introduction:
Describe the museum role as institution for serving the community.
 Objective:
 Raise awareness about the importance of the museum
 Increase their knowledge about the African countries civilization
history and its similarity with the Egyptian civilization.

 The Plan :
Divided into three parts periods: Before the workshop , within 3days ,
within 6monthes / year.
 The Plan
will depend on :
-Determine the stakeholders of the project
-Make events expressing the African culture and its relation with the Egyptian community,
Before work- Shop:
- Photo session. for the African students or some volunteers from 1000 African
leader initiative, to represent various aspects of their daily life that highlight the
African countries culture in their houses, traditions and customs , marital arts and
hunting , their food and its special condiment, their tools and weapons.
Within three days : will include
- Round table with the selection group from the faculty community to give
them idea about the community engagement plan.
- Educational programs for school students.
- Act African: Activity day
Within six months /Year : will include

Make your African memories (partition inside the museum give the opportunity for the
visitor to photo with museum replicas).

- The African war (Game App. for children using the African weapons with short description
about its history and how the African warrior used it for defiance.

- The African House day (festival hosting by the museum using the similar objects which
using until know in the African houses).

- Research Conference (about the African Egyptian heritage).
