Task : Dyad
Look for a partner. Identify who is partner A and
who is partner B. You will recall and share your
experiences relative to pre-observation
conference by answering the following
questions:
 How did you do your pre-observation
conference?
 How did it affect the teacher’s
classroom performance during the
actual conduct of the lesson?
Partner A takes his turn first. After Partner A has
finished sharing, Partner B takes his turn.

What is Clinical Supervision?

It is an intensive process designed to improve


instruction by:
• by conferring with a teacher on lesson
planning
• observing the lesson
• analyzing the observational data, and
• giving feedback about the observation

Task: Triad (15 minutes)
• For the purpose of this workshop, one will act as Principal,
another as Head Teacher/MT and another as Teacher to be
Observed
• A pre-conference with the teacher will be conducted using the
Pre-Observation Checklist.
• At the end of pre-observation the observers and the teacher
shall have agreed on the particular strands to be observed.
• Present your pre-conference simulation in 3-5 minutes
