O Come, Divine
Messiah
O come Divine
Messiah
The world in
silence waits
the day
When hope
shall sing its
triumph
And sadness
flee away.
Sweet, Savior
haste
Come, come
to earth
Dispel the night
and show Thy
face
And bid us hail
the dawn of
grace
O come Divine
Messiah
The world in
silence waits
the day
When hope
shall sing its
triumph
And sadness
flee away.
O Christ,
whom nations
sigh for
Whom priest
and prophet
long for told
Come break
the captive’s
fetters
Redeem the
long lost fold.
Sweet, Savior
haste
Come, come
to earth
Dispel the night
and show Thy
face
And bid us hail
the dawn of
grace
O come Divine
Messiah
The world in
silence waits
the day
When hope
shall sing its
triumph
And sadness
flee away.
You come in
peace and
meekness
And lowly will
your cradle be
All clothed in
human
weakness
Shall we your
God head see
Sweet, Savior
haste
Come, come
to earth
Dispel the night
and show Thy
face
And bid us hail
the dawn of
grace
O come Divine
Messiah
The world in
silence waits
the day
When hope
shall sing its
triumph
And sadness
flee away.

Lighting of
the Advent
Candles
Father, as we
journey down
this advent
road, we relight
the candle
of hope, and we
light a candle of
peace.
Grant us the
courage to make
peace: peace in
our hearts, peace
in our homes,
peace in our
communities.
Amen.
Have
mercy on
us,
O Lord.
ALL:
For we
have
sinned
against
you.
Show us,
O Lord,
your
mercy.
All:
And grant
us your
salvation.

A new beginning
Second Sunday
of Advent
I Believe in one God, the
Father almighty, maker of
heaven and earth,
Of all things visible and
invisible,
I believe in one Lord
Jesus Christ, the Only
Begotten Son of God.
Born of the Father before
all ages, God from God,
Light from Light,
True God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with
the Father;
through him all things
were made. For us men
and for our salvation
he came down from
heaven, and by the
Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the
Virgin Mary, and became
man.
For our sake he was
crucified under Pontius
Pilate,
he suffered death and
was buried, and rose
again on the third day
in accordance with the
Scriptures. He ascended
into heaven
and is seated at the right
hand of the Father. He
will come again in glory
to judge the living
and the dead and his
kingdom will have no end
I believe in the Holy
Spirit, the Lord, the giver
of life,
who proceeds from the
Father and the Son, who
with the Father
and the Son is adored
and glorified, who has
spoken through the
prophets.
I believe in one, Holy,
Catholic and Apostolic
Church,
I confess one Baptism for
the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the
resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world
to come. Amen.
Prayer of the Faithful:

Lord, prepare
us for the
coming of your
Son.

These make me rich

Time to Change
It’s time for us to
make our dreams
come true
A guiding voice will
tell us what to do
It’s the time to
change ourselves
and show the world
That we still care
for men and we’ll
lead them there
We’ll lead them to a
place beyond the
sea
A place of love
where everyone is
free
Don’t despair the
path to happiness is
wide
If we must change
our ways call on
God for our guide.
Second Sunday
of Advent
Let There Be
Peace On Earth
Let there be
peace on earth
And let it begin
with me
Let there be
peace on earth
The peace that
was meant to
be
With God as
our Father
Brother’s all are
we
Let me walk
with my
brother
In perfect
harmony
Let peace begin
with me
Let this be the
moment now
With every step
I take
Let this be my
solemn vow
To take each
moment
and live each
moment
In peace
eternally
Let there be
peace on earth
And let it begin
with me…
