VISUAL HIERARCHY
• Explains the order in which human
eye perceives what it sees.
• A technique to distinguish the
importance of every part of the
webpage.
• Objectives must be identified and
ranking of elements is important.
PROPORTION
• It is the use of the golden ratio,
approximately equal to 1.618, that
makes the design aesthetically
pleasing.
• Proper division of contents avoids
crowding of view.
HICK'S LAW
• A guideline for decision making in a
viewer's perspective.
• states that “with every additional
choice, the time required to make a
decision increases”.
FITTS' LAW
• States that “the time needed to
move to a target is dependent upon
the size of the target as well as the
distance to the target”.
• the larger the object and the shorter
the distance, the easier it would be
moved or reached.
ACCESSIBILITY
• the ability of the visitor to access
each bit of information in the easiest
manner.

understand and images are of high
quality.

and in engaging manner.
