• Someone with a shopping addiction may hide
their problem well, and sometimes only those
closest to them will know about their problem.
• People with a compulsive buying disorder may
hide their purchases or seem like they have
plenty of money to spend on money.
• Many compulsive buyers convey an image of
success and wealth, while in reality they are
deeply in debt.
