Bed Truck/ Rig Up Trucks


• Bed Truck/ Rig Up Trucks are designated to projects or
locations based on the job requirements. Swanberg operates a
variety of different bed trucks, all suited to the task they are
expected to perform. Some of the differences are
• Bed length and width required
• Twin Steer or Single steer
• Length of wheel base required
• Size of winch required
• Type of tires required
• Upon Swanbergs review of the job requirements and terrain
under which the truck will be operating; we can offer our
opinion of the best suited piece of equipment for you. If we
don’t currently have what you need, we will get it.

Besides assisting in setup and teardown of the drilling rig, Swanbergs

safety when hauling heavy loads.

In other applications the Bed Trucks winches have been used to pull
or hold heavy objects. The truck seen here is holding a 300ft barge
with its winch while the mooring lines are fastened.

Rig up trucks have also been used to assist in cleaning of tanks and rig

Winch Truck/Small Bed Truck
and Picker Trucks
• Winch trucks and small Bed trucks are used to haul the loads from
location to location. They come in a variety of size and drive axle
configurations.
• Small Bed Trucks can be utilized during rig up and down with or without a
trailer. They can be utilized to relocate rig components without the use of
a crane.
• Small Bed trucks can be useful on long loads that may normally overhang
on a trailer. The length of the bed will allow the load to over hang the
front and not the rear while the truck will still being able to maneuver.
• Picker trucks also come in different capacities and can minimize
downtown during a rig move by assisting loading/unloading in many
different scenarios.
• Swanberg operates tandem drive and tri-drive winch trucks. We also
operate a variety of different configured smaller bed trucks and Picker
trucks in both single steer and twin steer applications.

• Swanberg operates a variety of different size and capacity
trailers each suited to the load requirements. We operate trailers
with specifications:
• Capacity up to 60t
• Deck Length up to 50ft
• Deck Width up to 11”
• 2axles up to 5 axles
• 8 wheel configuration up to 24 wheel configurations
• Jeeps and boosters are used and allocated to projects based upon
requirements
• Swanberg is dedicated to providing the trailers and equipment
necessary to completing the task safely and in the appropriate
manner. We will supply the right equipment to move your
equipment safely and efficiently.
