Characters in the story

• Guyo- a very unhelpful man and who persuaded Koyo to go with him
to rob an Old hadji.
• Koyo- a very poor person,never have a money at all.

• Robe – a long ,loose piece of clothing that is worn on top of other
clothes to show that someone has a high rank or an
important job.
• Thieves – person who rob/steal something.
• Riverbed – the ground at the bottom of a river.
• Ridiculous – extremely silly or unreasonable.
• Erroneous – incorrect or wrong.
Story of Guno and Koyo

Everywhere in Java,Sumatra and Celebes, the people know the two man
named Guno and Koyo, when they hear this names they have a big
smile because the name Guno means``Helpful” but Guno is a very
unhelpful man and while Koyo’s name means``Rich”but Koyo in fact
never have any money at all.
One day a man named Guno persuaded his companion Koyo to rob
an old hadji,so during that night they dig a hole to get inside the
hadjis house by digging near the wall.
After digging the hole Guno get
inside and Koyo is the one who
watched outside to look for
strangers and guard Guno from
outside.
Guno get the valuables that the old hadji owned but
when caming out, Guno saw the hadji’s beautiful and
colorful robe so he wear it and then get out.
Koyo thought that
Guno will get out
through the hole so
upon seeing Guno
wearing the old hadgi’s
robe, he thought that it
was the old hadji so….
He screamed out that the hadji is outside,so now the
people in the community has been alarmed.
And for that, they all get out and the two thieves run
and Guno put away the robe while running to the
plains.
We should admit when we commit mistakes
and we don’t need to cover up those mistakes
By reasoning out. Everyone commit mistakes and we should learn from it.
