Cell Explosion Lesson 3
Questions
Have you ever felt that God is a million mile away? As if God is very far from your
reach. And at times you are thinking, “Does God is really exist? It seems my prayers
are not answered.” This feeling that God is absent and distant have been felt by the
majority of people and because they thought that by joining a religious group or by
doing religious activities they would be closer to God.
But the truth is that our separation from God is SPIRITUAL therefore it
could not be solve by human efforts even if is very good in your own eyes.
SIN SEPARATES MAN FROM GOD
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his
face from you, so that he will not hear you.”
-Isaiah 59:2
All men have seen and have fallen away from God’s glory.
-Romans 3:23
Death or separation from God is the wages of our sins
-Romans 6:23
THE JUSTICE OF GOD NEEDS A
SACRIFICE FOR THE SINS OF
MEN
Because our God is a God of righteousness and justice He cannot allow sin
not to be punished. On the other hand God is a God of love and mercy He does not
want men to perish and to be away from Him forever.
The way God solves dilemma is through His Only Son Jesus Christ. Jesus
will become the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the fallen human race. He is the Lamb
of God who takes away the sins of the world ( John 1:29)
“God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.
He did this to demonstrate his justice… so as to be just and the one who justifies
those who have faith in JESUS.” (Romans 3:25-26)
“…so also Christ died only once as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people”
(Hebrews 9:28)
JESUS PAID THE PENALTY OF
OUR SINS ON THE CROSS
He is also full of love and does not want us to go to hell and be eternally separated
from Him. He is ready to forgive if you will repent from your sins. He is ready to save
you if you will surrender and commit your life to Him. The good news is that, “IN
CHRIST THERE IS FORGIVENESS OF SINS AND RECONCILIATION OF
RELATIONSHIP TO GOD THE FATHER”
(2 Corinthians 5:19)
“
We will be saved if we stop trusting on ourselves & will put
our trust on what Christ has done on the cross.
“
For if we confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that your are made
right with, & it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
Romans 10:9-10
