To Dance
Students in this high school entry level course, created
for those having little to no prior dance instruction, will
learn foundational skills in two or more dance styles.
Their development of fundamental dance technique is
enriched through study of works by a variety of diverse
artists, developing genre- specific movement
electronics policy
vocabulary and dance terminology, and building
knowledge and skills related to somatic practices, Sometimes, we will use
dance composition, analysis of effort and outcome, electronics for learning.

rehearsal, performance, etc. will be
assigned a point value based on the
weight of the assignment. At the
end of the nine-week grading
period, the student’s grade will be
determined by dividing the number and how they’re weighted
of points he/she has earned out of
the total amount of points possible.
Class participation: dressing out daily, having all necessary supplies, asking questions,
Daily positive attitude, personal growth, & daily work. Students will earn up to 25 points a
week for demonstrating proper rehearsal etiquette (DA.912.S.2.1) and analyzing the
Rehearsals effect of the rehearsal (MU.912.S.3.4).
