The Circulatory System is a vast network of
organs and vessles that is responsible for
the flow of blood, nutrients, oxygen, other
gases, and hormones to and from cells.
What is the job of the Circulatory System
• The Circulatory System is responsible for transporting materials
throughout the entire body.
• It transports nutrients, water, and oxygen to your billions of body cells
and carries away wastes such as carbon dioxide that body cells
produce. Its an amazing organ system that makes blood travels trough
your entire body connecting all your body cells.
What are the main organs in
Circulatory System ?
There are 3 main organs in our
Circulatory System:
• Heart

• Blood

• Blood vessels
The Heart
• The heart is an amazing organ.
• The heart beats around 3 billion times during
an average lifetime.
• It is a muscle as big as your fist.
• The heart is located in the center of your
chest slightly to the left.
• Its job is to pump your blood and keep the
blood moving troughout your body.
The Blood Vessels
There are three major types of
blood vessels:
1.The arteries, which carry the blood away from
the heart;
2.The capillaries, which enable the actual
exchange of water and chemicals between the
blood and the tissues; and
3.The veins, which carry blood from the capillaries
back toward the heart.
Blood Cells
There are some tipe of
blood cells. There are
1. Red blood cells
2. White blood cells
3. Platelets
Red Blood Cells
Red blood cells that contain
hemoglobin are responsible
to bring oxygen in our body
White Blood Cells
White blood cells are
responsible in body
immune system, it also
bring information about our
blood type
What are possible in circulatory
system, how to prevent and cure the
diseases?
• Heart attack (coronary artery disease )

Interesting
Facts
• About 8 million blood cells die inside a human body every second and
born the same number was born every second
• Within a tiny droplet of blood there are 5 million blood cells
• Blood cells travel around our body for 20 seconds
• Did you know that in a lifetime our heart have enough blood to fill
100 king-size pools.
