 DESCRIPTION

A report on the event of the Department of Science and Technology thru the Technology Application and Promo
Institute and the Department of Science and Technology Region 02.
 
The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao have recently involved in the 2019 Regional Invention Contest and
Exhibits with the theme: “Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development” which
had been held on August 27-29, 2019 at Robinsons Place Tuguegarao, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. It started
10:00a.m. and finished at the afternoon.
 
The event was held to increase the development of new technologies, as well as to instill inventions among
employees and students in different schools. Moreover, the event has a role to expose the student’s excellence
performance, not only in academic, but in developing new technologies. This is because the real excellent and
harmony student is not only in academic field.
 
On our first day, we researchers bring our thesis project earlier than the opening of the mall to assemble
it and to be ready for the event, the evaluation of Science and Technology Exhibits and Science and Technology
Trivia was 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
On our second day, we arrived at the venue around 10:00 a.m. so we can set up our system before the
program starts, a continuation of Evaluation of Science and Technology Exhibits along with the Science and
Technology Trivia was started 1:00 p.m. and ended 5:00 p.m. the first and second judge came and interviewed
us about the project.
On the last day, it is the big day of the event the Awarding Ceremony but first, they continue the
evaluation of Science and Technology Exhibits so the last judge interviewed us again and to sum up they tallied
all the scores from the judges and we got the 1st Place and 2nd Place.
