     Discuss the historical development of scientific principles, concepts, and ideas

     Apply that knowledge to differentiate between various areas of science.

     Deductive reasoning
    History of Science

     Vesalius
    (1514-1564)
     Galileo
    (1564-1642)
     Newton
    (1642-1726)
     Leibniz
    (1646-1716)
    Lab - Pendulum
     Count off into 3 groups
     Assign these roles
     Reader – make sure members
    understand the directions
     Recorder – Collect data and share with
    the group
     Timers (2) – time the pendulum using a
    phone
     Workers – Build, hang, swing
    pendulums
     Use the directions your handout for each
    station.
     Record your data on the lab handout.
