PRE PROCEDURE REQUIREMENTS SMP

• Ask the patient to shampoo the hair on the day of procedure, then clean
with spirit before starting micropigmentation
• Procedure takes 1-2 hours, depending on the area to be treated. But
don’t try to extend beyond 2 hour
• Avoid tanning
• Avoid medicines like aspirin, smoking, drinking coffee, before
procedure.
• Patch test can be performed in case of very sensitive skin.
POST PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS SMP

• wash scalp on 4th day & 8th day of micropigmentation with mild
shampoo
• Avoid cap for 1 week
• Avoid minoxidil, oil, gel, hair transplant for 3weeks
• There should be a gap of 1 wk between any scalp treatment like
PRP, Mesotherapy, Stem cell therapy on scalp
• Density in new area can be increased after a week
• Touch ups after 1 mth
