Communicative Activities…

Communicative Activities include any


activities that encourage and require a
learner to speak with and listen to other
learners, as well as with people in the
program and community. Communicative
activities have real purpose to find
information, break down barriers, talk about
self and learn about culture.
Tasks…
• A task is a classroom activity or exercise that
has an objective attainable only by interaction
among participants.
• It is a mechanism for structuring and
sequencing interaction
• It is a focus on meaning exchange
• A language learning process that requires
learners to comprehend, manipulate and/or
produce the target language as they perform
some set of work plans.
