INTRODUCTION
TYPES OF NUMBERS
� NATURAL NUMBERS
Counting numbers such as 1, 2 ,3 ……… are called NATURAL NUMBERS. It is denoted by N.
� WHOLE NUMBERS
All natural numbers including 0 are called WHOLE NUMBERS. It is denoted by W.
W= 0, 1,2,3…..
� INTEGERS
It includes all the whole numbers and negative numbers, such as -1, -2……. It is denoted by Z.
Z= …..-2, -1, O, 1, 2, 3……
� ZERO (0) is neither positive or negative
