What is AMI?

 We are A Non-Profit Organisation that seeks to


connect vulnerable children in Lesotho with adult
mentors who will guide them as they navigate
school and who will also shape them into
successful and responsible adults.

effects that face children from single-parent or


child-headed households.

 Improved road infrastructure, because of the proposal of
improvement of road and rail infrastructure to carry the food
cargo and aid into the country

 Small businesses may increase their inventories of agricultural


produce by outsourcing from local farmers hence reducing
reliance on imports and supporting local agricultural industry

 Loss of grazing land to food production farms.

 Labour force participation may tend to decrease


Conclusion and Recommendation
 Even though the policy is still in its draft form it
highlights that food production and distribution of food
fail to meet the neediest households the country hence the
significantly increasing insecurity.

 Nevertheless, it highlights the importance increasing


availability of food sources so as to improve food
stability.
 Recommendation; educational programmes for farmers
on how to use different irrigation processes and soil
management techniques appropriate for different climates.
