• Acciones que ESTÁN ocurriendo al momento de hablar / action
happening at the moment of speaking
Ejemplo: The baby is sleeping at the moment.

• Situación que cambia constantemente de la cuál no tenemos control /


Changing situation
Ejemplo: The city is getting bigger and bigger.
TIME EXPRESSIONS
• Present Simple: every day/week/month/year, usually, sometimes, always,
rarely, never, often, in the morning/evening/afternoon, at night, on
Mondays, etc.

• Present Continuous: now, at the moment, at present, nowadays, today,


tonight, always, still, etc.

• Acción que estuvo en progreso en un momento determinado del pasado /
action which was in progress at a stated time in the past
Ejemplo: At 1 o’clock this afternoon they were having coffee.

• Acción interrumpida / Interrupted action


Ejemplo: I was watching T.V. when my mom arrived.
TIME EXPRESSIONS
• Past simple: yesterday, last week, (how long) ago, then, just now, when, in
2010, etc.

• Past continuous: when, while, as, the moment that, etc.
