IF CONTIONAL SENTENCE
1. ZERO TYPE : to describe a fact
If+ simple present tense, simple present tense
2. FIRST TYPE : to describe possible or imagined
conditions in the future and has the most likely to happen
If+ simple present tense, simple future
3. SECOND TYPE: describe a small possibility of that
happening/ the situation was unrealistic
If +past tense, would +infinitive
4. THIRD TYPE : describe the repentance condition.
If +past perfect, would have +v3
Example
1. if you heat water, it boils (zero type)
2. if you study, you will pass the exam (first type)
3. if I were you, I would rest right now (second
type)
4. if I had done my homework, I would have been
able to play now. Jika saja saya sudah
mengerjakan pr, saya sekarang bisa bermain (third
type)
