•He is an Indian IT Industrialist
•Co-founder of Infosys
•Known as father of IT Industry
•He studied Electrical Engineering at the National Institute Of Technology,Mysore.
•He completed his Higher Education in the Indian Institute Of Technology,Kanpur
•Immediately after his studies he left for London
•There he worked in a company called SESA
•He worked there for 3 Years
•He was excelled in designing a software for managing
air-freight at Charles De Gaule,Paris
•After that he returns to India to start his own Company
•He started his career in IIM Ahmedbad where he joined as the Chief
Systems in 1976

•He started an IT software consulting firm called “SOFTRONICS” in Pune.

•He described it as Earliest Learning Experience
•SOFTRONICS company failed and
he let it to join Patni Computer
Systems,Pune.

•Here he met his future wife who

would incidentally provide the
initial investment for starting
INFOSYS.
 •But Murthy’s dedication
and planning saw that plans
of their company where
executed well and this made
all the difference.
•And now INFOSYS is
growing at a steady rate
•From 1981 to 2002,he served as CEO of the
company at INFOSYS.
•He was involved in designing and
implementing the global delivery model for
outsourcing IT services from India.
•This was widely appreciated and put into
use by most of the companies operating from
India
•He also wrote a book called “A BETTER INDIA,A BETTER WORLD”

•He has been also awarded with many of the awards like –

PADMA SHRI
LEGION OF HONOUR Etc…
