2. Usually singly run or with a few employees.
3. Which can generate assets for people.

 The tangible benefits from microenterprises are in terms of

employment and wealth generation and the intangible
benefit is an improved quality of life.

Impacts of Microcredit on
Environment(cont)

Renewable energy source-

 Natural solar heat is used as regular source of
energy in Bangladesh
 In rural areas solar energy is being used to produce
electricity, which actually reduces the use of natural
resources.
 In Bangladesh, ‘Grameen Shakti’ is providing green
energy equipment such as solar panels.
Solar Power

Solar power uses Sun’s

energy to produce
electricity. Solar energy is
harnessed using solar cells
made of panels of
semiconductor material
which generate electricity
when illuminated by
sunlight.
Adverse impacts

 Improper waste disposal

 Unbalanced use of resources
 Pollution of water
 Excessive solid waste
Analysis

Bangladesh is filled with extreme level of poverty

and high density of population.

The issuing of micro-credit loans to aid all of these

financial responsibilities will eventually eliminate
the disturbing stories of poverty and hardship that
are commonplace in the lives of Bangladeshi
citizens.
Recommendations

• Educate people to build their own small businesses by

using microcredit facilities.
• Encourage them to take micro-loans, so that they can use
the money to contribute to the economy.
• Provide microloans whenever an area is affect by any
kind of natural disaster, so that farmers or other producers
can continue their previous works with ease.
• Microcredit institutions should provide guidelines to their
customers to take care of the environment while doing
businesses.
