CONCLUSION
• Fe3O4/PEG and Fe3O4/PEG combined with curcumin as a nanoparticle
has been successfully synthesized.
• The results of the analysis of X-ray diffraction data showed that both
sample formed Fe3O4.
• Functional groups Fe3O4 and PEG represented with Fe-O, C-O-C stretch
dan C-H stretch, while the addition of curcumin has a new peak namely
C=O and C-C .
• The average diameter size of Fe3O4/PEG particles is 23.4 nm and
Fe3O4/PEG/Curcumin particles are 22.6 nm.
• The value saturation magnetization (Ms) of sample Fe 3O4/PEG decreased
after adding curcumin. Fe3O4/PEG and Fe3O4/PEG/Curcumin
nanoparticles have potential as drug delivery agents
