2. Parameters Setting
The parameters marked by red box in the following Item Setting section are very important. Please refer to your
reagent kit insert and find out the concerned information.

1) Sample and reagent volume setting

The sample volume on this instrument should be 5uL to 35uL, stepping at 1uL. Minimum 5uL is suggested.
The reagent 1 volume should be in the range of 150uL to 400uL, stepping at 1uL.
The reagent 2 volume should be in the range of 20uL to 300uL, stepping at 1uL.
When match the volume of sample and R1/R2, make sure the total volume added to reaction cuvette is within
the range 160uL and 400uL. Recommended total volume is 300uL.
2) Test point setting
 The test cycling time on this model is 30 seconds. One cycle is one point. Total points is 31(0, 1, 2, 3, 4…30).
The reagent mixing time and monitoring time can be converted into points as each minute is 2 points.
 For the End method with mono reagent, the point refers to the end of the reaction. The pre-blank is by
default 0 and 0 respectively. The test points (start point and end point respectively) can be set as 18 and 20.
 For the End method with dual reagent, the start point refers to the R1 and sample mixture, so we set 18
points plus the mixing time as start point. The end point refers to the end of the reaction, so we set 2 more
points plus the start point as the end point. The pre-blank can be set as 12 and 13 respectively.
 For the Kinetic or Fixed-time method, the start and end point refers to the interval between the points when
the reaction becomes stabilized. We set 18 points plus the mixing time as start point, and set the continuous
monitoring time (minimum 3minutes) plus the start point as the end point.
 Based on the above calculation, operators can check the actual reaction curve, find a stable time period,
turn back to the parameter setting section and adjust the test point accordingly.
3) Other settings

The Places is for the decimal places. The absorbance, Male and female range, health item, linearity, correction
factory, reaction direction and dynamic can be set by default if not required in use.

3. Reagent Position Setting

Whenever we want to run new test, we need to first of all register and set reagent parameters in the interface
Item parameters, then we can set new positions for reagents in the interface Reagent.
When load reagents to reagent bottles, for mono reagent, we put R1 to bigger bottle. For dual reagent, we put R1
to bigger bottle and put R2 to smaller bottle.

1) Reagent Disk Number: it is the virtual reagent disk number. Number can be set as 1 or 2. Each disk has 16
positions for reagent. If use no more than 16 reagents kits, we only set disk 1. If use more than 16 reagent at
the same time, the disk No. 2 is needed and set reagent position as 2.
2) Test Name: name of reagent for test, name it in short.
3) Type: set 1 for Reagent 1 and set 2 for Reagent 2.
4) Position No.: the position on the reagent tray where we load the reagent kit. If it’s dual reagent we should
set same position for Reagent 1 and Reagent 2.
5) Total Capacity: set by default, Reagent 1 at 28ml, Reagent 2 at 7ml.
6) Residual: residual of reagent in the kit by default.
7) Measurable sample quantity: Set by default.
8) Margin detection and full detection allow the detection of reagent residual in the kit on board.

Click 【 Add 】 to create new location for new reagent, input required information and click 【 Save 】 , it will be added
to the reagent tray list. For dual reagent, the R1 and R2 should be set in same position respectively. For example,
UA is dual reagent. We set R1 in position 3 and set R2 in Position 3 again.
Notice: when logout the software, the instrument probe will move and stop at reagent position, please take
away the reagent tray before logout software.
