IMPORTANCE OF CREATING AN OUTLINE.

 Aids in the process of writing


 Helps organize ideas
 Presents material in a logical form
 Shows the relationships among the ideas in writing
 Constructs an ordered overview of writing
ALPHA-NUMERICAL STRUCTURE

An outline is a tool used by writers to organize ideas and research into


logical order. The most common is an alphanumeric outline or an outline
formatted in the following order:
 Roman numerals
 Capitalized letters
 Arabic numerals
 Lowercase letters
MAIN COMPONENTS FOR EFFECTIVE OUTLINES.

 Parallelism
 Coordination
 Subordination
 Division
PARALLELISM

Each heading and subheading should preserve parallel structure. If a


heading starts with a verb, then the other headings must also start with a
verb. Moreover that verb must also be in the same tense.
Example:
1. Choose desired colleges(main idea 1)
11. Prepare application(main idea 2)
COORDINATION

All the information contained in heading 1 should have the same


significance as the information contained in heading 2. The same goes for
the subheadings.
Example:
1. Visit and evaluate college campuses
11. Visit and evaluate college websites
A. Note important statistics
B. Look for interesting classes
SUBORDINATION

The information in the headings should be more general, while the


information in the subheadings should me more specific.
Example:
1. Describe an influential person in your life
A. Favourite high school teacher
B. Grandparent
DIVISION

Each heading should be divided into two or more parts. There is no limit on
subheadings.
Example:
1. Compile resume
A. List coursework
B. List work experience
C. List volunteer experience
MY PLAN

A literary translation is a translation of belles-lettres works and literary texts.


Plan:

Methods of transferring realities during the translation of literary texts(on the example
of the translations of Steven King’s novel “It”.
Methods of transferring Kazakh realities into English used in the novel “Abai’s Way”.
