October 8,2010 • Hubert Webb filed for Motion Of Acquittal. December 14, 2010 • The Supreme Court acquits Webb, and others, except for the two defendants tried in absentia. The hair of the dog In 2001, girl named Leanne Tiernan died in West Yorkshire, England. The Forensic team found strands of dog hair on the body. Turned out the DNA in the dog hair matched DNA of a dog owned by a man known to hunt in the woods near the crime scene. It was the first time doggie DNA was used in Britain to identify a murderer. October of 2001, John Taylor was arrested and was sentenced in July 2002 .
