Romans 1:15-17

Romans 1:15-17
“That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel
also to you who are in Rome. For I am not
ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of
God that brings salvation to everyone who
believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in
the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a
righteousness that is by faith from first to last,[a]
just as it is written: “The righteous will live by
faith.”
How to appreciate th
GOSPEL?
In these verses, Paul remind us that we
have a GOSPEL to be proud of. We want to
preach on the thought NOT ASHAMED OF
THE GOSPEL.
But the message of JESUS CHRIST and HIS
SALVATION is a message we should share
with everyone, everywhere without shame
or fear.
Let me share with you the marks of the
GOSPEL that make it a message of which we
need not to be ashamed.

that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his

persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because
I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord
was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith
and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy
saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came
into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.”

CONCLUSION
Questions arise in my mind
How are you doing when it come to sharing that
message?
Who do you know in your life who needs to hear
the gospel?
Why not come to altar and pray for those people
and ask GOD to give you the opportunity to tell
them about JESUS?
If you are saved, you are not
ashamed of the GOSPEL! You
know its power and there is a
desire within you to share it
with those who do not know
its power.
