Ring-tailed possum - Out during the evening and looking for cover at night
Western grey kangaroo - Early morning or late afternoon seen grazing in paddocks
Echidna - Seen crossing roads
Koala - Asleep in the gum trees and seen throughout the region
Brown bandicoot - Marsupial seen in Jupiter creek area
Purple swamphen - seen wading in reeds and water ways
Laughing kookaburra - very common seen everywhere
Wedge-tailed eagle - large wings and seen soaring above the trees
Flora

• Golden wattle - Small tree with curved leathery leaves, flowers winter to spring

• Beaked hakea - Large shrub with long needle leaves, flowers winter to spring

• Silver Banksia - Large shrub or small tree, Thrives in summer

• Common Vanilla lily – Grass-like with sturdy stems, bearing single scattered flowers, Flowers spring and summer

• Wall-Flower donkey orchid - Grass like stems with up to 8 flowers, flowers late winter to spring

• Sundew – Small perennial herb with rosette of leaves, flowers winter to spring
