TRUTH
 Truth is one of the central subjects in
philosophy. It is also one of the largest.
Truth has been a topic of discussion in it’s own
right for thousands of years. Moreover, a huge
variety of issues in philosophy relate to truth,
either by relying on thesis about the truth.

 The problem of truth is in a way easy to
state:

“What truths are, and what makes everything true.”

But this simple statement masks a great deal of
controversy. Wether there is a metaphysical problem of
truth at all, and if there is, what kind of theory mught
address it, are ll standing in the theory of truth.

Opinion
 OPINION
-To give one’s opinion is to give one’s “way of thinking”.

-is based more on a feeling more than on a reality shared by all.

-Public opinion is often relegated to the level of false knowledge.

-Opinion is something intermediary between knowledge and and

ignorance. (Plato)

-Opinion applies to what, being true or false. (Aristotle)

- Debate is a formal argumentation and a venue of reasoned
Discussion from two opposing sides on a well-defined context.

TYPES OF DEBATE

1.) One-Rebuttal Debate : There are two to three members in each opposing
Sides (affirmative and negative) where all have the chance to refute the
Argument Of the opponent.

2.) Oregon-Oxford Debate – There are two-three speakers where

Affirmative side delivers their entire affirmative case to be disproved
by the negative side and So on and so forth.
