What is peptic ulcer disease?

Peptic ulcer is a disease caused by injury to HCL-


exposed organs such as the esophagus,
stomach and duodenum and is caused by
Helicobacter Pylory bacteria.
What are the symptoms of
peptic ulcer disease?

Feeling heartburn
Bloating
Nausea-vomiting
Pain can appear immediately after eating or a few
hours afterwards
Weight loss
What are treatments to treat the
disease?

 Give the combination of antibiotics and acid


lowering medication
Reducing the use of alcohol, tobacco and caffeine
stop using non steroids and anti-inflammatory drugs
