the data according to specified rules, produce results, and store the
results for future use.
• Software :
– System Software : programs that control or maintain the operations of a
computer and its devices. 2 types of system software : operating system, and
utility program
– Application software : programs designed to make user more productive
and/or assists them with personal tasks
• Different types of computers will have different function and
purposes.
