The Relevance

The relevance of this course paper is currently related to the


development of languages. In the modern world, people often
try to simplify the language and avoid complex constructions
that are presented in the Perfect Group Tenses. It is
interesting to observe how the Perfect Group Tenses of
English and Spanish are expressed in newspapers.

Conclusion
The tenses of the Perfect Group are used in accordance with the
norms of English and Spanish grammars.
The Present Perfect Tense is more common in English newspaper
articles, and the Pretérito Perfecto Tense is more common in
Spanish articles.
The Perfect Group Tenses are found with about the same
frequency in both English and Spanish newspapers.
