What are the five crazy ways that
social media and the internet are
affecting our brains?

1. we can't control the time

that we spend online,
causing addiction.

The addiction generated by social media is similar to a

disease from which it is very difficult to get out or not to be
addicted, since these media provide stability, tranquility or
fill us with something we don’t have or want to have,
whether popularity, friendships, relationships or tastes in
common with other people.
 2, Multingtasking so
this cause interference
in our brains to hold
back the information
These means of communication retain so much time of the
person that his brain has to make much more effort, which
damages his state of health.
3, phantom vibration
syndrome is when your
brain believes that your
mobile turned off when
its not
4, When we talk about
ourselves on the
internet our brain
blocks the points of
view of the others and
our ability to socialize

People with their published picture hide their reality,
they appear otherwise, if they are sad, they look happy
or the other way around, and others simply because
they like to share what they are doing.

Opinion: Social media help people who are afraid to speak face to face, to do it behind a screen and to be able to find a
partner.

Many people by uploading an image to social media are looking for others to see happiness in them or an
emotional stability they don’t have because these images hide the reality of people, through ideal or desirable
lifestyles for others.

life than the one they lead.
