WHAT IS CSR ?
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that
helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public.

By practicing corporate social responsibility, also called corporate citizenship,


companies can be conscious of the kind of impact they are having on all aspects of
society, including economic, social, and environmental.

ADIDAS
 Adidas is a 70 year old German multinational corporation and it manufactures
over 400 million pairs of shoes every year.
 Parley is a space where people come together to raise awareness for beauty and
fragility of oceans and take up projects that could end their destruction.
 In 2015 adidas partnered with parley. Their main goal was to turn marine
pollution into sportswear.
 Build a unique retail activation for the launch of Adidas Parley shoes, which
saves approximately 11 plastic bottles from reaching our oceans
when recycled into a pair of trainers.
 Built a vending machine to dispose bottles to recycle them and later use them
for making shoes.

COCA COLA

•Coca Cola is a multinational beverage manufacturer which entered India


in the 1950’s

•Coca-Cola launched its sustainability framework Live Positively


embedded in the system at all levels, from production and packaging to
distribution.

•The company’s CSR policy Live Positively establishes seven core areas
where the company sets itself measurable goals to improve the business’
sustainability practices.
