PRESENTATION

GROUP 4
According to International Coastal Clean-
Up, Ocean Conservancy mobilized over
half a million people to collect 8,346,055
kg of trash over more than 24,000 km of
coastline worldwide.
This included over 1.8 million cigarette
butts and 1.5 million plastic bottles,
according to the organization’s report.
Unfortunately, some countries in the Coral
Triangle are contributing significantly to
this volume.
Recent reports, including information
from the environmental organisation
Greenpeace, have identified the
Philippines as one of the world’s top
plastic polluters.
And if we can't come up with a plan
to reduce this waste , then all we can
see in the ocean will mostly plastics
and not fish anymore.
In this project/plan we can help
reduce the plastic pollution especially
in this pandemic where we are using
face shield that will be useless after
this pandemic.
We use bottle caps to make a
bag or hamper at least in
that way we lessen the toxic
waste from the plastic.
Plastic ni Juan Project from
Eat Bulaga is one way of
helping students and the
environment by collecting
plastic bottles to recycle it and
make a chair for the schools
that do not have enough chair
for there classroom
